銀 燭 秋 光 冷 畫 屏 , 輕 羅 小 扇 撲 流 螢 。
天 階 夜 色 凉 如 水 , 臥 看 牽 牛 織 女 星 。

Autumn Night - Du Mu

Silvery candles in an autumn scene,
Casting light coldly on the pictorial screen.
With tiny silk fans, children in the night,
Were after glowworms flying bright.
In the courtyard, the air was cold as water,
Lying, I could see in the sky the Altair and Vega.
